NCBIS is a truly international school which offers a high standard of education to over 60 nationalities. We are a warm, friendly community and the warmth is evident as you enter the campus where you are met by an array of world flags proudly representing our many nationalities, but ‘one culture’ and one whole school ethos.
We are an Non-profit school meaning that all revenues are reinvested in the school for the benefit of the students, while most Cairo schools are privately owned.

The school follows the British National Curriculum alongside a bespoke provision in the primary school alongside our Dutch Stream which follows the National Programme. The British National Curriculum is followed in the secondary school with the option for students to take the IB Diploma Programme as an alternative to A Levels.
NCBIS boasts professional staff and we currently employs over 85 expatriate teachers with the majority of these from the United Kingdom.
Parents’ Group: We have an active Parents’ Group, which is both a fundraiser for, and supporter of, our (CAS) programme.
NCBIS has Accreditations and regular inspections by ISI, CIS, and the IBO, as well as by the Dutch authorities. These provide us with constant, invaluable feedback for improvement.
