We believe that our extra curricular activities programme should develop attitudes of cooperation, critical thinking, citizenship, sportsmanship and teamwork, as well as allowing pupils’ talents and interests to flourish under expert guidance, support and tuition from a range of highly qualified and enthusiastic staff.

An enormous strength of Kent College is the wonderful array of activities that take place outside the classroom. The activities programmed is designed to allow each pupil to find an area or areas where they can discover and develop their skills.

Throughout the year, Kent College West Cairo will host a number of inter-house competitions which allow all children to achieve success. These include Sporting, Creative, Academic and Performing Arts activities. House points are awarded on an individual, group or house basis to celebrate effort and success in all areas of school life including academic, behavior, extracurricular, and demonstration of Learner Profile attributes.

Points are tallied regularly, culminating in the end of year prize giving.

A developmental curriculum, this program recognizes and allows for each child to progress at their individual pace in each area of the seven areas of development. It provides firm foundations from which children move into the National Curriculum for England in Year One.
