Washington School was founded in 1950 by teacher Mercedes Mallo and since then, the motto that has guided the school is “El mejor niño, para el mejor hombre, para un mundo mejor” (The Best Child, for the Best Man, for a Better World). |

Washington School focuses its education on the person, to slowly but steadily help achieve a harmonious development of one’s physical, psychological and spiritual skills, towards maturity of personality. This aim defines our school community, privileged means to teaching tasks. WS considers education must be holistic, walking together with the students` growth in a close relationship with all the protagonists of the learning process: students, teachers and families. Through a responsible guidance, students elaborate their own and strong criteria which will let them develop their whole potential as a person. |
