Our child has been here for 7 years, and choosing Acton Academy Bucharest has been one of the best decisions we made. From the very beginning, we felt a strong alignment between their educational approach and our family’s vision of what school should be: a place where children grow with confidence, curiosity, responsibility, and a genuine love of learning. This compatibility of values is essential. It starts with asking yourself an important question: what kind of person do I want my child to become, and what values do I want to nurture in them? At Acton, we found the most answers that felt right to us as parents.
What we appreciate most is how children are encouraged to become independent thinkers, take ownership of their learning journey, and develop real-life skills in a supportive and respectful environment. The learner-driven model, hands-on projects, and meaningful discussions make learning engaging and relevant.
Over the years, we have seen our child growing step by step into a more confident, respectful, and open minded person. We truly value the community, the caring guides, and the focus on character development, alongside academics.

My two boys have been part of Acton Academy Bucharest, one since 2023 and the other since 2024, and I’m truly impressed by their growth. The school places a strong focus on character development, helping them become more independent, responsible, and confident. I can see how they are learning to make good choices and take ownership of their actions. Most importantly, they are genuinely happy and excited to be there every day. It’s a meaningful environment that supports them in becoming the best version of themselves.

It took us two years to truly understand what we wanted for our child. In reality, it only took one hour—the visit we made to Acton Academy a few months before the school year began made it crystal clear that this was the school we had been searching for, without even knowing it existed.
Now in our third year at Acton Academy, we’ve had the privilege of watching our child grow into an incredible young man—confident, respectful, and full of humor. Most importantly, he genuinely looks forward to going to school every day.
One of the things we value most is the beautiful outdoor environment, where children spend meaningful time in nature—exploring, playing, and learning beyond the classroom walls.

Bad communication with parents, guides keep getting fired or strangely leaving as if something is clearly off with the director team. Parents are not welcome as partners in education but merely held away from knowing what is really going on. When parents ask questions or communicate concerns we are argued with by leadership. Almost all learning happens on the computers, which anyone could do themselves from home. This school is not what it pretends to be.
