Beijing Chaoyang Kaiwen Academy provides a bilingual teaching and learning environment for children from Kindergarten to Grade 12, which combines the best features of the Chinese and International Curriculum. Up until Grade 9, pupils follow a programme based on the Chinese National Curriculum yet enhanced by the Cambridge International (CAIE) Curriculum. In Grade 10 pupils prepare for International GCSEs across a range of subjects. In Grades 11 and 12 they choose the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme .
