Qualities and characteristics best defining the school

Singapore International School of Bangkok was founded through the cooperative efforts of a group of Singaporean and Thai parents who were keen to invest in an institution to provide their children with quality education that develops fluency in English, Chinese and Thai. Motivated by their beliefs in the merits of the Singapore-based curriculum, they established SISB in 2001.

Teaching approach of the school

SISB adopts the best practices of leading international schools using the holistic Singapore and UK curricula as the foundation for teaching and learning. The Singaporean curriculum ensures that all students will not only become effectively fluent in three languages: English, Chinese and Thai during their Primary years, but they will also develop significant skills in Mathematics and Science. This
curriculum also fully prepares them for their studies in the Secondary years leading to the IGCSE level and Advanced AS/A level examinations.
