Our family was part of the ACS community for ten years, until 2025. We left, and what follows explains why.
The current leadership has created a culture in which parental feedback is not just unwelcome — it is actively managed and suppressed. Parents have been told directly by the President not to speak negatively of the school, on the basis that doing so could harm their children's university prospects. We all need to uphold a false image so colleges don't see the flaws. That is not community leadership. It is leverage.
The governance structure has followed suit. Parents previously elected their representatives to the school Board. Shortly after we left, the Board of Trustees changed the rules: parent members are now self-selected by the Board itself. The timing was not coincidental. you know it's a good school that does teach you something. but it sometimes make me question common sense.

Great environment and school,happy to have my child there!

In general great atmosphere, facilities, administration and some excellent teachers , however like any school some teacher are just good and others not. It is an American curriculum that is why it is referred to as ACS, but has many international students attending. I attended this school and as atudent I liked it overall. The only drawback when I was there is that there was lack of accessible tutors to help students struggling with certain topics which very important when one has vacuums of knowledge and needs to keep up. Even tutoring workshops during breaks or after school programs are great help, especially when it hard to get private home tutors.

This school has great teachers and offer much help to students. They keep the campus clean and have many after school activities.

The name is deceiving it’s not an American school but international. Much better schools out there to pick from with better standards
