Lycée Français International de Zurich is a French international school in Zurich from age 3 to 18.

This diversity is further enriched by native German and English teachers who bring their own pedagogical perspectives. Within this multicultural context, the trilingual French International Baccalaureate stands out for its innovative multilingual approach. Allophone students also receive personalized support to ease their integration, while our language certifications and international exchanges open doors to universities worldwide.

Teaching approach of the school

Founded in 1956, the school now welcomes nearly 1,150 students, from 3 to 18 years old. In September 2025, after 70 years of history, the school opens a new chapter and becomes the Lycée Français International de Zurich.

The school is part of the global network for french education abroad (AEFE: Agence pour l’Enseignement Français à l’Étranger in French), which ensures that the curriculum complies with the programs of the French Ministry of Education. The teaching provided is also accredited by the Zurich Cantonal Education Directorate (Bildungsdirektion), which recognizes the compliance of the French–German curriculum from kindergarten to CM2, as well as the secondary education program.

The educational content is therefore designed in accordance with the cantonal law on German-language instruction.
