Supervised care before/after school

The International School - Zurich North offers a convenient service for parents who cannot collect their children right after school. The After School Club runs Monday to Friday from 3.15 - 6 pm. Some students come on a regular basis and others for an hour as needed.

There is a big variety of clubs, some of them are: basketball, football, orchestra, arts, choir, forest and outside fun, cricket, Indian dancing, karate, swimming, Taekwondo, violin, German.

Besides using the school's playground and Multi-Purpose Hall, ISZN has an arrangement with the Wallisellen public school for the use of the gymnasium and the indoor swimming pool.

Qualities and characteristics best defining the school

ISZN is located in the rapidly expanding town of Wallisellen, just three stops by train from the Centre of Zurich. The school was established in 1999 and, since then, has grown and developed into two buildings catering for students aged 3 to 17 years. ISZN is proud of our multicultural diversity and celebrate the richness of language and experiences this brings.

Teaching approach of the school

International School - Zurich North is an IB World School, which offers students an international education in the English language and the benefits of living in a local culture.

ISZN offers an international curriculum for the Middle School and then students sit Cambridge IGCSE exams at the end of Grade 10. ISZN now also offers the A Level programme for students in Grades 11 and 12.
