| Teaching approach of the school |
At H-FARM International School, we offer a broad-based education delivered in English, designed to foster international mindedness and global citizenship. Teaching and learning are deeply rooted in the International Baccalaureate (IB) methodology, which promotes the full development of each student, not only academically, but also emotionally and socially. One of the most distinctive features of our school is our pluralistic view of success. We believe there are many ways to achieve and to grow, and that every student should have opportunities to experience success in a way that is meaningful to them. Success builds curiosity, confidence, and collaboration, shaping students who are both self-aware and community-minded. We celebrate and nurture different forms of success, each contributing to the growth of the whole person: Emotional success: feeling happy and fulfilled through self-awareness. Social success: building authentic connections and friendships. Learning success: finding joy and satisfaction in academic work. Community success: developing empathy and inclusion, and caring for the wellbeing of others. Language success: communicating effectively and confidently in more than one language. Future readiness: building technological capability, computational thinking, and an innovator’s mindset. Learning at H-FARM is a continuous, dynamic process that combines intellectual challenge with emotional growth. Whether in academics or socio-emotional development, we aim to instil successful learning habits through our Six Principles of Learning, which guide both students and teachers: Ask better questions. Explore connections. Apply knowledge in new contexts. Collaborate (with people and technology) to create better. Evidence your learning. Reflect on both process and outcome. By developing these habits, learning becomes a deeply engaging and rewarding journey. We encourage students to think critically, act compassionately, and approach challenges with creativity and confidence. At H-FARM International School, education is not just about what students know, but about who they become: balanced, curious, and resilient individuals ready to thrive in an ever-changing world. |
