Qualities and characteristics best defining the school

The International Modern Arabic School is a co-educational institution established in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, offers kindergarten, primary and secondary levels.

Students are proficient in both Arabic and English languages, as they enjoy studying the Arts subjects in Arabic, and the Sciences in English. Now, the school is surging ahead towards globalization by way of teaching the scientific subjects, represented by mathematics, science and computer, in the English language, in addition to the English language as an independent subject. At the same time, the Arabic language and the Islamic and social sciences will remain in the Arabic language so as to combine the language of the Qur’an and the language of modern science.

Teaching approach of the school

IMAS offers a homogeneous mixture of very qualified and accredited curricula:

- Arabic Curriculum: which uses Yemeni curriculum as the main reference in the literature subjects (Quran, Isalmic Studies, Arabic Language and Social Studies).
- International Curriculum: Mostly Singaporean, which is used as the main stream for the scientific subjects (Maths, Computer, Physics, Biology and Chemistry).
- IGCSE Certification: IMAS is proud to be one of the international schools that prepare its students to be qualified for the international Cambridge IGCSE exam.
