Yes, we encourages all children to develop to their full potential but recognizes that some children progress at different rates to their peers. These children may require an Individual Education Plan to be written for them to break their learning down into small achievable goals.

In Primary, the school has a Learning Support Department to oversee this programme. Parents will be consulted if a child is experiencing particular difficulties and an Individual Education Plan will be written for the child specifically to address their needs.
In Secondary, our Learning Support Department is able to offer support for a limited number of students with mild learning difficulties. However, the school is unable to accept children with significant learning difficulties.

Campus & Classrooms
The British International School, Hanoi is a state of the art, purpose built school in Vinhomes Riverside, Long Bien District, Hanoi – a green and quiet area. The campus boasts exceptional facilities including a large library and auditorium, and all classrooms are equipped with interactive whiteboards. The whole building has wireless network access whilst outside playground equipment meet international standards of safety and flexibility.
STEAM & MIT
At BIS Hanoi, we are passionate about STEAM subjects. We aim to excite students about Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Maths through our collaboration with MIT. We have state of the art facilities providing flexibility for our 21st Century Learners.
Sports
At BIS Hanoi, we are proud to offer world-class training and sports facilities, which include a sports hall, 25m swimming pool and outdoor playing fields, to all our students. Art & Theatre
We are passionate about all three performing arts and work in close collaboration with The Juilliard School. Students in our school experience music, dance and drama as an important part of our curriculum.
