Our family has moved a lot the last few years and our kids had to go to several international schools. The British international school at Mougins was by far the one we liked the least, both in terms of academics and in terms of quality of school staff (with few bright exceptions). We heard from other parents that it used to be a better school, but not anymore. Its location is great, though, at the heart of the French riviera. Luckily, we are moving again and our kids will go to a different school next year

I was a student at Mougins school a few years ago and when I returned to my home country, I realized how under-prepared I was to meet the academic challenges in the next phase of my education. Quality of teaching at Mougins school was pretty low (with only few exceptions, maybe in some of the math classes). School management was generally unhelpful and not very interested or motivated to help students. Also – strange for an international school – several of the school staff seemed to not be trained to handle students from cultural backgrounds other than English. There was some serious bullying going on in several classes, and teachers did not seem able to do much to prevent it. School location was great, though, as it is located at the heart of the French Riviera. Their campus is also well maintained.

Mougins school used to be a better school but has deteriorated in recent years. Academic level is low, some of the staff is not cooperative, lots of bullying going on in class. Generally, not the best place for your children to be in. Facilities are good though, I guess that would be one positive
