Our children attended Mougins School for a year, and unfortunately, our experience was very different from what we had expected based on the way the school presents and markets itself.
The school does an excellent job with its marketing, advertising, and overall presentation. As parents looking for a high-quality international education, we were initially very impressed. However, once our children actually attended the school, it quickly became apparent to us that the education was not nearly as academically tailored or individualized as we had been led to expect.
To be fair, the individual teachers our children had were very good, caring teachers who genuinely seemed to want the best for their students. Our disappointment is not directed toward them. The problem, in our experience, was that the teachers could only do so much within the larger system and structure of the school.
We felt that the administration was far more focused on enrollment, finances, and the business side of the school than on the individual academic and emotional needs of each child. Once you become part of the school, it can very quickly feel as though your child is simply another number rather than an individual student whose progress, strengths, weaknesses, and educational experience are being carefully followed.
We also found there was a significant difference between the polished image presented to prospective families and the day-to-day reality once enrolled. For the tuition being charged and the expectations created by the school’s marketing, we expected a much higher level of individualized academic attention, accountability, communication, and responsiveness from the administration.
Ultimately, our children spent a year there, and we left disappointed with the overall experience. There are some very good teachers at Mougins School, and I want to emphasize that distinction. But in our experience, good individual teachers were not enough to overcome what we felt were much larger shortcomings in the way the school itself is managed and the priorities of its administration.
For families considering Mougins School, I would strongly recommend looking beyond the marketing and asking very specific questions about individualized academics, how student progress is monitored, how concerns are handled after enrollment, and how much direct attention each child actually receives. Our experience simply did not live up to what we believed we were signing up for.

Used to be a brilliant school maybe 6 or 7 years ago, now it has seriously deteriorated. It was a happy, family feel school. Not so now. Poor leadership and management. A real shame.

Our family has moved a lot the last few years and our kids had to go to several international schools. The British international school at Mougins was by far the one we liked the least, both in terms of academics and in terms of quality of school staff (with few bright exceptions). We heard from other parents that it used to be a better school, but not anymore. Its location is great, though, at the heart of the French riviera. Luckily, we are moving again and our kids will go to a different school next year

The school was a really happy place, now not anymore.
No accademic structure, but extra lessons to be paid.
Continue turnover of teachers, most of them with no adequate preparation.
Staff not collaborative and not communicative.
Vaping and bullism very present around the campus and not treated.
General athmosphere in the school very deteriorated.

I was a student at Mougins school a few years ago and when I returned to my home country, I realized how under-prepared I was to meet the academic challenges in the next phase of my education. Quality of teaching at Mougins school was pretty low (with only few exceptions, maybe in some of the math classes). School management was generally unhelpful and not very interested or motivated to help students. Also – strange for an international school – several of the school staff seemed to not be trained to handle students from cultural backgrounds other than English. There was some serious bullying going on in several classes, and teachers did not seem able to do much to prevent it. School location was great, though, as it is located at the heart of the French Riviera. Their campus is also well maintained.

Mougins school used to be a better school but has deteriorated in recent years. Academic level is low, some of the staff is not cooperative, lots of bullying going on in class. Generally, not the best place for your children to be in. Facilities are good though, I guess that would be one positive
