St. George's, The British International School Düsseldorf Rhein-Ruhr empowers children to lead a life that makes a difference. St. George’s believes that school is a fundamental chapter in a lifetime of learning, and it’s their aim to make it an extraordinary one. For students aged from 2 to 18 years old.

Founded in 1968, the International School of Dusseldorf (ISD) is a non-profit, independent, co-educational day school located in the heart of the international community of Düsseldorf. As one of the oldest and largest international schools in Germany, ISD offers national and international qualifications to around 1000 students from more than 54 countries.
The school has a proud history of helping young people realise their dreams and ambitions in all walks of life and in all parts of the world. ISD provides an outstanding education that prepares students to succeed and inspires them to make a difference; an education that equips them with the skills and abilities to meet the global challenges they face. ISD strives to provide each student with the individual support they need to thrive, discover joy in learning, become autonomous and intrinsically motivated, and ultimately become the architect of their own future.

Live Life, Love Learning
COLOGNE INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL, a state-recognized independent and fully accredited IB World School, currently accompanies around 460 students from Grade 1 through to graduation and also hosts a bilingual Montessori kindergarten on campus. On the international campus in the north of Cologne, students in grades 1 to 5 learn English/German bilingually according to our unique combination of the North Rhine-Westphalian curriculum and the international IB-PYP curriculum. Our International Secondary School supports students from grades 6 to 12 to acquire the International Baccalaureate (IB).
The learning opportunities of the innovative educational concept with a holistic approach focus on the individual development of the students. In addition, the school offers a flexible full-day program with early morning care starting at 7:30 a.m. and a wide range of after-school activities until 5:30 pm.
The small and modern boarding school, which is located on the school's campus, offers students from the age of 15 the opportunity to live in Cologne without family, in order to successfully complete their school career.
In the Fall, 2022, COLOGNE INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL moved to the new school campus at Butzweilerhof, a rapidly developing office and residential district close to the city with convenient transport links. The new 19,000 m² campus is sustainable and energy efficient, saving up to 30 tons of CO2 per year. A spacious courtyard with trees and “green areas” for spending quality time outdoors surrounds the school building.
