Our daughter spent two wonderful years at HAIS, and we left the school only because our family moved to another country.
We were extremely happy with both her academic progress and her personal development. HAIS does an excellent job of motivating children to learn, read, explore the world, ask questions and genuinely enjoy the learning process. The school encourages curiosity, creativity, independence and openness to the world rather than simply focusing on memorisation and grades.
What also makes HAIS very special is its atmosphere. The teachers are warm, respectful and highly skilled at engaging children and guiding their attention without creating an environment of constant pressure or rigid control. Our daughter always felt comfortable and happy at school.
We also greatly appreciated the positive relationships between the children and the inclusive school culture.
HAIS became a very special place for our family, and we still miss its atmosphere after moving abroad. We are very grateful to the teachers, staff and founders for these two years.
We can confidently recommend HAIS to any family looking for a strong international education combined with a genuinely positive, creative and caring environment.

We were looking for a school before moving to Da Nang and HAIS ended up being the best fit for our family, especially since our son was starting Secondary school. We had seen a mix of reviews online, so we weren’t completely sure at first, but we decided to visit the school for a tour and let him join a trial day. Honestly, it turned out to be one of the best decisions we made. The experience was very different from some of the negative reviews we had read, so I’d recommend visiting and seeing the school for yourself before making a judgment.

No doubt that this school is considered one of the best schools in the areas. Teachers are lovely and the campus is very green and designed with personality.

The best secondary school in the area. Regardless of what others may say, we decided to let our child experience it for himself. It turned out to be one of the best decisions we have made (apart from moving to Hoi An). I highly recommend visiting the school and speaking directly with the teachers and the parents here. Don’t let others mislead you.

As a former parent, I want to warn others about Hoi An International School. The school shares facilities with university students, including the gym, fields, and cafeteria making the campus unsafe for young children. Also, this year alone, several teachers have already left due to toxic management. I highly recommend checking the Glassdoor reviews before considering it

As a parent, I feel very happy with the education my child receives at Hoi An International School. The teachers are not only professional but also genuinely caring, and my child enjoys going to school every day.

We love this school, especially the boutique campus. The primary teachers are super helpful too.

Hais is a commendable school that truly delivers on its promises. The investment is well-justified, with a friendly and supportive staff and teaching team that contribute to a positive learning environment.

My son has been attending the school for several years now. His English has improved remarkably since his very first day, thanks to the dedicated support from all his teachers. HAIS has also significantly boosted his confidence by participating in numerous art and sports activities. He truly loves every aspect of the school, from the beautiful garden to the competition-standard swimming pool, and the diverse group of friends he's made from around the world.

It’s the best decision we’ve made so far for our teenage boy. We relocated from the US after years of living abroad and the biggest concern was the schooling for our 14 years old boy. He loves sports and this school provides everything he needs to pursue his dream.

Our daughter loves this school and so do we. Her teachers really care about the students' well-being, the campus looks amazing, especially the garden which not many schools in the area has this. As parents, we also feel a strong sense of belonging within the school community, which has made our experience even more meaningful.

What looks good to the eyes is the school. Underlying issues of unfriendly owner, lack of care for students welfare before profits and staff not qualified to teach or oversee. If you are looking for a school that has a great social media presence and low standards of teaching and welfare, you have found the place. If you want to pay top fees for upper level online learning, good choice.
On the whole, when you price this against any real school in the west or Australia/New Zealand, it's a joke based on the amount they charge.

As a parent, I was initially drawn to the school because of its beautiful campus and seemingly warm environment. However, over time, I’ve grown increasingly concerned about the lack of transparency from leadership and some of the issues being raised by staff in online reviews on Glassdoor. If even a portion of what is shared is true, it raises serious questions about how the school is managed behind the scenes!!!
Given the fees, families expect not only quality education but also ethical leadership and a commitment to high professional standards. I hope the school leadership reflects on these concerns and makes meaningful improvements to restore trust among both staff and parents...

The school shares facilities like the canteen and gym with university students and staff. This raises questions about the safety of students.
Additionally, there is constant construction work for unclear reasons, and construction workers frequently on site. Ongoing issues with black mold have not been adequately addressed as well. Overall, I urge potential parents to carefully consider these factors before enrolling their children.

The best school in the area!
