Teachers assign homework to students in the end of the lesson. Furthermore, the homework is assigned in the digital classbook where students and parents have access to check it. In case of online lessons, the homework is also signed in Microsoft Teams which we use for digital lessons. The amount of time is always depending on the required task. Normally, homework has to be done until the next lesson. In case of a bigger task as a project, the amount of time will be prolonged.

When a new student is applying at the Rahn Schulen Kairo, they will be invited for an assessment test. After they passed the assessment test successfully, the parents will be invited for an interview with the school principal.

Kindergarten: Testing of the German language skills is taking place only in Vorschule (preschool). In all other years the language capability is made systematically by everyday use of the German language. During the trial day, the teachers are observing the motoric abilities, the social skills and behavior in general.
Primary/ Secondary school: Language ability as well the social skills are taken into account. The students are writing an assessment test in subjects as German and Mathematics.
