I visited the school, but my first impression of a German school quickly vanished. The influence of the Islamic religion is very noticeable there. Teachers are supposed to maintain religious neutrality, but right at the kindergarten, I was greeted by a teacher dressed in a burka. That was the first thing that put me off. The second was paying school fees in cash. When I asked for a receipt, I was immediately rejected. This gave me the impression of a less than impeccable payment system, something that smacked of tax evasion. The curriculum was also more of a jumble than a well-thought-out structure. The school resembled a Waldorf school.
