As a parent who proudly raised my children within GEMS Education in Dubai, I’ve always associated the GEMS name with excellence in both academics and administration. Unfortunately, my experience with GEMS Madinaty in Egypt has been deeply disappointing.
While the school carries the GEMS logo, the reality is far from the standard that GEMS is known for. The management is disorganized, the administration is unresponsive, and the reception staff are neither professional nor trained to meet even the minimum expectations of a GEMS institution.
This message is addressed directly to the founder and chairman of GEMS Education. My children experienced outstanding education and care in GEMS schools in Dubai, and it’s heartbreaking to see the same brand lose its value and reputation because of poor, irresponsible local management in Egypt.

Save your kids by not applying. They have a high turnover and they accept everyone.
This school is a continuous disappointment to parents. Academically, they have given my daughter the wrong curriculum in year 8 , She was taught year 7 curriculum. English is taught as a second language. Unfortunately the one teacher who we were told has experience from other well known schools turned out to have never worked there.
As for my other daughter who attended year 10& 11 at the school . The teaching was quiet a disappointment and the grades were a bigger disappointment. Some topics got ungraded . As for the management side ...... Never found proper management and therefore had to reach out to Gems Corporate but at the end all the violations happening in ... read full review

BISM used to have a really good reputation during the days the school was owned by TMG, Now BISM is owned by GEMS and it is solely a business school. It is just good luck if you get a good teacher for your child. The staff turnover is very very high. Many teachers come and leave mid term and the school claim family issues. I struggle to believe this is the case! It has happened in my daughters class for 4 consecutive years! This is our last year at BISM.
The Management in Primary is really bad. The head of Primary makes excuses and has no idea what she or her teachers are doing. Same goes for the principal - she seems to care about money and not what the parents want - well seeing as our fees pay her salary perhaps she should care.
If you have money to pay for your child's education, BISM is not the place to be.
