As a parent, the High School was probably the weakest part of the school for our family.

I understand that it is a bilingual school rather than a fully international school, so I wasn't expecting native-level English from every student. However, I was surprised by the overall English ability of some students given that many had been studying English for years in bilingual programmes.

Socially, my child found it difficult to connect with other students. They felt that many students were not particularly engaged with school life and often spent their free time on computers rather than participating in clubs, activities, or social events. As a result, my child struggled to find a strong sense of community.

My child also described some lessons where students appeared disengaged, and at times they felt that classroom behaviour could make learning more difficult. As a parent, I sometimes got the impression that teachers were working hard to maintain student focus and participation.

Academically, there were occasions when I found it difficult to reconcile report card results with the level of English and academic performance I personally observed. Other families may have had different experiences, but this left me uncertain about how to interpret some assessment outcomes.

The facilities are good, and there are many dedicated staff members who clearly care about their students. However, for our family, there was a noticeable gap between our expectations and our experience of day-to-day school life.

Ultimately, we decided that a different school would be a better fit for our child's needs. This is only our personal experience, and other families may feel differently.
