Qualities and characteristics best defining the school

The German School of Paris is one of 140 schools abroad that the Federal Republic of Germany has set up together with local school associations to promote German language and culture abroad.

Teaching approach of the school

The school program is the result of the work of the steering committee, of teachers, pupils, parents, the directory board, the administration and the board of education. The content has been worked out in different workshops by all participants. It is based on the school profile and its background is the quality framework of the Federal state of Germany for German schools abroad.
Six development areas of teaching, learning and living at school are structuring the different areas of the school's work and give concrete expression to the concept of the iDSP. That provides the framework for the school's pupils to develop their potential and personality.
