My children attended DSL for only three years. The decrease in satisfaction was noticeable throughout this time. We are talking about:

- High teacher turnover - teachers are not enthusiastic and transmit this to the children when teaching, even saying that they are not satisfied with the school and their salary.

- Very poor replacement for absent teachers (they often have children doing worksheets and mostly teachers who are not from the subject and sometimes don't even speak German).

- Very weak psychosocial team and they even mistreat the children. They even protect some children at the expense of others (girls are overprotected and boys are blamed for everything).

- Serious cases of bullying.

- Very low level of German - Students are mostly from Portuguese families, which makes DSL a typically Portuguese school, not reflecting German culture at all. - Very weak current management.

- People on the board of directors/administrative council have many personal interests and do not focus on the essential thing, the children!

- Lack of tolerance and pedagogy.

- They constantly cut expenses while tuition fees increase significantly each year.

Unity, teamwork, a true school community does not exist!!!
