Teaching approach of the school

SWA is offering a challenging and engaging Early Years curriculum that develops students physically, intellectually, emotionally and socially. The Early Years curriculum bases students learning on the standards set out in the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework from the UK.

Starting from Kindergarten 2 to Grade 5, SWA offers the Cambridge Primary Programme integrated with PKU, National curriculum along with any other international curriculum standard. In Grades 6 to 10, the syllabus from Cambridge International Examinations is integrated within the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme curriculum framework. The school shapes the curriculum according to national requirements and to the school’s Asian cultural identity.

In Grades 11 & 12, students follow the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, where the curriculum and assessment procedures are prescribed in detail in order to meet the requirements for university entrance around the world.
