I would generally not recommend the Primary School at this institution. While the Kindergarten section is quite good, the Primary School appears to be managed differently and feels less organized. The school claims to offer the New Zealand curriculum at the primary level, but there is little evidence that teachers are familiar with this kind of flexible, open framework, and the school does not hold any certification for it.
Many new teachers seem to have been hired from recently closed schools in the area, and some appear to have limited experience or training. In addition, the facilities and support provided do not seem sufficient for the primary level. The school also does not seem to respond sincerely or effectively to parents’ concerns.
In my opinion, the school would be better served by focusing on maintaining a strong nursery and kindergarten program rather than trying to expand into primary and higher grades without ensuring the necessary quality and resources.
