**Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ (1/5)**
Our experience with Duka Private School has been deeply disappointing and, unfortunately, I cannot recommend it to any parent looking for the best education for their child. Despite the school's high reputation and the promises we were made upon enrollment, the reality was shockingly subpar.
### 1. Quality of Education
**1.1 Teaching Methodology**
The quality of education at Douka was much lower than we expected. The teachers, although theoretically qualified, did not show the necessary dedication and the teaching was often superficial. Students were not encouraged to develop critical thinking and there was no approach to deepening the lessons.
**1.2 Student Support**
Support for students was minimal. Teachers did not provide sufficient help when students were struggling, and the lack of personalized support negatively affected students' progress and confidence.
**1.3 Exams and Assessments**
Examinations and assessments were ineffective. Exams often did not reflect the content of the teaching, and the feedback provided was not helpful in improving student performance.
### 2. Infrastructure and Facilities
**2.1 Status of Facilities**
Duke's facilities did not meet modern guidelines. The classrooms were in poor condition, with worn furniture and limited equipment. Building maintenance was poor and common areas were not well maintained.
**2.2 Support Infrastructure**
School infrastructure for technology and educational tools was limited. Available technologies were often outdated and students did not have access to modern educational tools.
### 3. Administration and Parental Support
**3.1 Communication with Management**
Communication with the school administration was problematic. Lack of clarity in procedures and slow response to problems resulted in frustration and a sense of neglect.
**3.2 Parental Support**
Support for parents was non-existent. Parents are not sufficiently informed about their children's progress and cooperation with the administration was limited.
### 4. General Report
Our overall experience with Duke was disappointing and the investment in this school is not worth it. The quality of education, condition of facilities, support for students and communication with management were all areas requiring significant improvements. I hope this review helps other parents make a more informed decision about enrolling their children at Douka School.

We’ve been at Doukas for a few years now with two kids in different levels. Not everything is perfect (no school is), but overall we’re very satisfied. Consistency and quality are there.

Honestly we were a bit anxious at first (first child, first school…), but it turned out much better than we expected. The teachers are very sweet and patient. Our son needed some time to adjust and they handled it really well.

Our child started Kindergarten at Doukas School this year, and the transition into school life has been really smooth. What stood out to us is how patient and attentive the teachers are with the children, especially at this age. They manage to combine learning with a lot of creative activities, so the kids stay engaged and happy. Our child often comes home talking about the day’s activities, which is always a good sign. Overall, it has been a very positive first school experience.

As a mother with a child in Primary School, I feel very confident about our choice of Doukas. The school offers a strong academic foundation while also creating a warm and encouraging environment for children.
The teachers are supportive and attentive, helping students develop confidence, curiosity and a love for learning. Communication with parents is also very good, which makes us feel involved and informed.
What I appreciate most is that the school focuses not only on lessons and grades but also on helping children grow as individuals, developing responsibility, collaboration and critical thinking.
It’s wonderful to see your child happy at school and progressing every year.

The Junior High years can be a challenging transition for children, but our experience at Doukas School has been very reassuring as parents.
The academic level is strong, yet the teachers create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and expressing their ideas. Our child has been encouraged to become more organized, independent and confident during these important years. He is so happy and he makes us even happier for our choice!
What we appreciate most is that the school focuses not only on academic progress but also on character development, responsibility and collaboration.
Doukas helps students build the foundations they will need for the next stage of their education and live unique experiences. Strongly recommended!

Our experience with Doukas Kindergarten has been wonderful from the very beginning. The environment is warm, safe and extremely nurturing, which is exactly what you hope for when your child is so young. The teachers are caring and attentive, and they create a classroom atmosphere where children feel happy, confident and eager to learn. What impressed us most is how the school combines play, creativity and early learning in such a natural way. Our child comes home excited about what they discovered each day. It truly feels like a supportive community for both children and parents, and we are very happy to have started our educational journey.

As an IB alumnus of Doukas School, I can honestly say the programme prepared me exceptionally well for university. Thanks to the strong academic foundation and the guidance I received during the IB years, I was admitted to my first-choice university in London, and the transition to university studies felt surprisingly smooth.
The IB teachers were demanding but incredibly supportive, always pushing us to think critically, manage our time and take ownership of our learning. The university counselling was also very helpful throughout the application process.
Looking back, Doukas gave me not only the academic preparation but also the confidence and independence needed to succeed at an international university. I’m very grateful for the experience.

As a parent with children in both Lyceum and the IB Diploma Programme, I can honestly say that Doukas School offers an exceptional academic environment combined with genuine care for students.
The level of academic preparation and university guidance is outstanding. My children feel challenged, supported and well prepared for their next steps, while the teachers are approachable and truly invested in their progress.
What I appreciate most is that the school focuses not only on grades but also on developing independence, critical thinking and confidence.
For families looking for a school that combines strong academics with a forward-looking mindset, Doukas is an excellent choice.

The school uses modern day technology to help with educational procedures, which is nice, but the teachers fail to provide the pupils the appropriate knowledge so they can't consolidate that knowledge. They don't also give them methodology of studying, which is different for each subject, to help them study better. The science labs don't get used as often as they should. The teachers are really loose throughout the semesters concerning the studying material, but on the exams they give the highest level of tests, which are appropriate only for the best pupils. When the average grade of the class is 12-14, then it is a total failure of the school itself. It fails to understand their role in education, which is to inspire to be better and not to crush the pupils.
