“Learning is about the development of the individual” – this is the overriding principle of LIPSCHULE Zurich. Findings from neurobiological research show that children and young people have very individual ways of acquiring skills. As an educational institution we therefore feel we have a responsibility to create an environment in which they can develop to their full potential. We do so by providing an excellent basis for the permanent accumulation of knowledge. This approach, based on a humanistic view of mankind combined with constructivist educational methodology, is one we adhere to at all teaching levels.

Rietberg Montessori School is a state-accredited day school operating under the auspices of the Department of Education of Canton Zurich. The Montessori curriculum fully covers the curriculum requirements of Canton Zurich and guarantees transfer to secondary school.
The activities offered to the children in our Montessori classrooms are based on the needs of children and encourage self-motivated and joyful learning. Ecole des Nations (pédagogie Montessori) is a Foundation created in 1989 that offers a Montessori teaching, bilingual (French-English). Close to International Organizations and surrounded by many parks, it is open to all children from 3 to 12 years old.
EDN gives students time in 3-year cycles (3-6 years / 6-9 years and 9-12 years) to grow, discover, experiment to assimilate, understand and build. EDN trusts in the child the adult being built.
