Qualities and characteristics best defining the school

Since opening its doors in September 2013 St. George's School Munich community has continued to grow and flourish. Within the next 3 years the school will develop to include all age groups between Nursery and Year 13.

The school's pupils come first in everything SGSM does. The curriculum is structured, experiences varied, pupils secure and parents involved. The pupils enjoy coming to school, build strong friendships and embrace their learning.

Teaching approach of the school

The concept of education being a life long journey is central to the school's philosophy. SGSM promotes consistently high standards of teaching, an enjoyable and purposeful environment and a close relationship between teachers, pupils and their families.

Staff ensure each child receives a well-rounded education by devoting attention to the individual child within small classes. Children are expected to behave in a responsible way where polite manners and responding to the needs of others come naturally. It is important for us to ensure that children develop into well-rounded and responsible global citizens.
