For us, finding the right school for our three children when we first moved to Spain from the UK was not easy at all. Before finding the perfect school for our children, The British College of Benalmádena, our children went to two other schools. I only wish we had found this fantastic school from the beginning.
Keeping a long story short, we made the mistake of enrolling our children in an international school in the area, instead of a British one. The so called “international” school was a Spanish school, full stop. They were following Spanish primary and secondary and a very strange version of the IB. Our children were very distressed because they did not speak Spanish and they were unable to follow the lessons at all. The school had a nice building, but nothing was being taught inside it. We obviously left.

Horrible experience. The management team (and especially the headteacher) only care about money and not education. They are generally rude with students and parents alike. Teachers are good, but the management team is not. We have never had such a bad experience in any of the international schools our kids have been too. If you're considering this school, I would definitely consider it twice.

The facilities are correct, nothing overwhelming, but sufficient. Teachers are great professionals. Now, the management team is an absolute disgrace. Never in my life have I seen less classy people running a school that claims to live to the highest standards. The attention to parents is deplorable and the responses they give are at the level of people with very low status.
