As a parent, I feel compelled to share our family's disheartening experience with bullying at ISE. It is truly alarming to witness how a school that is supposed to be a safe place for our children can fall short in addressing such a critical issue.
My child has faced relentless bullying in this school. This was not the typical "kids will be kids" scenario; it was severe and persistent. The emotional toll this has taken on my child is immeasurable, leading to anxiety, a drop in academic performance, and a loss of interest in school altogether.its not even loss of interest, its more than that. He felt unsafe or scared to go to school.
What is most troubling is the response from the school administration. Rather than addressing the bullying directly and offering support, the school seems to sidestep the issue by blaming my child.
This not only exacerbates the problem but also sends a message that it is the victim who is at fault.
We reached out to teachers and counselors, hoping for intervention and support, but the responses were dismissive. Instead of taking the matter seriously and implementing strategies to foster a supportive environment, we felt our concerns were brushed aside. It’s disheartening to think that a school would prioritize its reputation over the mental well-being of its students.
Bullying thrives in silence, and when schools inadequately address it, they not only fail the victim but also allow the perpetrators to continue their harmful behavior. My child's experiences have taught us that open discussions about bullying, education on empathy, and real support systems are essential in creating a safe learning environment. Instead, we found ourselves feeling more alone in a place that should be a nurturing community.
No child should have to endure bullying in silence, and no parent should feel helpless in advocating for their child's safety and well-being. It is my hope that this review raises awareness and prompts a necessary change within the administration.

Overall we are very happy with the school. My child was welcomed by peers and found their place and settled in well. Some teachers are better than others but any negatives we have we have also found at our children's other schools. The extra curriculas are great and they try to showcase students achievements and abilities throughout the year. There's also an active parents group which has been fantastic and they are also a great source of connection and information.

A really good school where my child is thriving both socially and academically Most teachers and mentors care about education and do their best. The IB system is quite different from our home country's education system so it took a little time to get used to it. A downside is the lack of space during break times and overpriced cafeteria food.

The quality of the teachers in general and physics in particular is abysmal. Student often know more than their teachers and have to teach themselves everyday. Also, there is not enough space to sit in the cafeteria due to lack of space(school is growing way too fast). The school cares too much about profit that they ignore simple requirements such as sport classes for DP, space to sit or teach, and leaking roof of a temporary room. Apart from that the facility in itself is very nice.

Disheartening treatment to our family and my kid.
Negligence and an inability to find root-level solutions. The administration will always prioritize the school's reputation before seeking bold measures. Incompetent teachers, deeply prejudiced, and protected by an administration that lacks sensitivity and is rife with fears of losing customers and staff.

My child attended this school - the IB program was deeply disappointing and did not meet expectations. Having experienced IB programs in multiple countries, ISE’s is, without question, the worst. No wonder their good teachers don’t stay. Several of my child’s teachers were not just unqualified , they were wholly unfit to be in a classroom. The art program in particular was an absolute joke - poorly structured and lacking any real educational value. It has been a deeply frustrating and disappointing experience, and I would strongly urge other families to look elsewhere if they care about the quality of their child’s education.

Very beautiful campus, nice facilities, overpriced cafeteria food and some social toxicity.
