Walter Mendonça
Director
Welcome to Montalvo International School. As the Director, it is my pleasure to introduce you to our educational community.
At Montalvo, we will be commited to creating the conducive environment that raises the standards of education in the Algarve. From this, we want a school that encourages intellectual curiosity, promotes personal and academic growth, and cultivates meaningful relationships in the community we find ourselves in. We hope that with these things in place, we can ensure the success of all our students where each pupil achieves their personal best.
Our duty to a holistic educational approach is more than just academics. We want our range of extracurricular activities, cultural exchange programs, and community integration to broaden our students' horizons and give them the opportunity to learn both in and out of the classroom.
With this comes the added benefit of learning Portuguese immersed in the community. This will be made possible with the Montalvo Partnership Program that will be developed in the coming months.
We understand that selecting a school is a significant decision, and we are here to support you in the process. We invite you to explore our website, meet our dedicated team, and learn more about how and why we approach Education the way we do.
I look forward to meeting you, and wish you success in your search for the right school.
