the response from the teacher was "what a brave boy" absolutely disgusting the way it was handled. None of the teachers took accountability for not contacting me, the incident report form was only filled in after I contacted the teacher and their nurse said it was strange as "she was not notified of this injury" after back and fourth with a very patronizing tone from the teachers end we heard that our son was also face down in the sand pit with that child standing on him before he hit our son in the head. So tell me how you trust your children in a space like this. When brought before their governing body nothing actually came of the "investigation" they promised. Had it been handled correctly, had a nurse been called and us notified to help our toddler or even the teachers not speaking in this condescending passive aggressive tone then my perspective would have been so different. However this school was the biggest disappointment of note. I have pictures and screenshots of the responses and injuries should anyone wish to query it.

It is with disappointment that we read the above review. At CWS a great deal of effort is put into ensuring that all parties are heard when rare incidents occur. The safety and wellbeing of those who attend our school and the broader community that supports them, are of paramount importance to us. An important aspect of Waldorf ethos is the holding of those in our care and when anything occurs that compromises that holding we take it very seriously.
In this case a comprehensive process was followed that engaged with all parties, action was taken and a report was shared with those involved. The incident in question took place in the third term of last year and was dealt with at that time to the satisfaction, we understood, of all involved.
As always we maintain an open door policy and we would like to extend this to those involved and anyone in the broader community who might have read this review and have concerns.

Really disappointed compared to how the school seeks to project itself. Please read the above one star review and the response. No apology or projection of empathy with the parent - essentially implying that the parent is lying. As there is no administration, there is absolutely no accountability. You can complain until your blue in the face but no one will accept responsibility for failure or shortcomings as seen above in black and white. We are waiting for replies as to why our daughter did not receive feedback in her report card on two subjects when all other kids did. Children are told to be accountable when teachers are not and there is literally no one to complain to except the offending teacher or “the teachers committee” which is motivated to protect its own. Structurally is is set up for the kind of covering up evidenced in the one star review above. Can’t even rate on the administration because there is none.

No school wanted our daughter Kelli Shean to participate in sport as she is deaf...Waldorf opened their arms to her and taught her so much self confidence,they allowed her to travel to play golf... eventually becoming world champion....forever appreciated..thank you
