Early Years | Ages 3 to 6
Our Early years are divided into two sections as in the British National Curriculum into reception and year 1.
We provide all-day care and quality services tailored to the individual needs of children. Every child is a partner for us, we respect their opinions. Early years are open to children of all nationalities and our children will learn English thanks to the incredible potential of learning foreign languages with the support of our patient teachers.
The Early Years have a separate section of the building with a separate entrance for their needs. The complex has a large and carefully maintained garden with mature trees and a playground.
Primary School | Ages 6 to 11
We welcome families from over 50 countries, embracing diversity and fostering a collaborative learning environment. Following the National Curriculum of England, our professional staff aligns lessons with the Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) syllabus, providing a strong academic foundation.
Students study core subjects like Mathematics, English, and Science, alongside History, Geography, Art, Music, PE, and ICT. With enrichment opportunities like clubs and a focus on both academic and social growth, our students are well-prepared for the challenges of a global and diverse world.
The Czech curriculum is also integrated into the education for Czech children, ensuring compliance with compulsory school attendance requirements. This allows students to benefit from both international and local educational frameworks.
Secondary & High School | Ages 11 to 18
Secondary education at Perrott Hill British School spans Year 7 to Year 9, following the British curriculum. In Year 9, students begin preparing for their IGCSE exams, recognized by universities and employers worldwide. The Cambridge Lower Secondary Program helps monitor student progress and identify areas for improvement. Year 9 focuses on core subjects such as Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, while also incorporating Global Perspectives to enhance research and writing skills.
During the high school years (Year 10 to Year 13), students complete their IGCSE exams and A Levels exams. Those with limited English proficiency receive additional language support to ensure academic success throughout their studies. This well-rounded approach prepares students for their future academic and professional endeavors.
