Shenwai Longgang International School serves children of the expatriate community who work in Shenzhen and children who are permanent residents of Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan. The school is using a temporary campus in the first place and eventually aims to grow to a capacity of hosting 960 students in total on a state of the art campus in the Longgang district, which is currently being built.
The transitional campus of Shenwai Longgang International School is located at Block C2 of Shenzhen High School of Science. The school commenced operations on 1 September 2017, and is currently offering courses for Grade 1 through Grade 5.
