Shanghai SMIC Private School is a K-12 school established in 2001 by Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation (SMIC). Our school has a teaching staff of nearly 400 serving over 3300 students in grades K-12 in both International and Chinese diploma programs. SMIC-International Division (SMIC-I) students are foreign passport holders or have permanent residency status from other countries. The majority of SMIC-I’s teaching staff are foreigners, with over half being Americans, and about a third being Chinese. SMIC-I has a K-12 staff of 218, with about 55% being foreigners. SMIC-I offers a full program of instruction for students in kindergarten, elementary (grades 1 to 5), middle school (grades 6-8), and high school (grades 9-12). SMIC-I is accredited by the US agency, Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), and also has memberships in the East Asia Regional Conference of Schools (EARCOS), and the Overseas Association for College Admissions Counseling (OACAC). We provide a diverse high school AP program and a unique Chinese language program that has fantastic student achievement results. SMIC-I is also a member of the College Board and is a test center for SAT and ACT.

YK Pao School is a pioneering international Chinese school. The school is a private non-profit institution founded in 2007, in memory of Sir Yue-Kong Pao, the renowned Chinese businessman and philanthropist. With around 1,600 students from China and overseas, the school offers a unique Year 1-12 educational programme that is based on the Chinese National Curriculum, draws where necessary on other curricula, and is designed to meet our school's needs and educational aspirations.

Fudan International School is a public school affiliated to Fudan University, providing both primary school and high school education. It is located in Shanghai of China. It is under co-direction of the Shanghai Education Commission and Fudan University. The school was established in 1950, and the High School started an English language international division in 2006. The school is a co-educational, college preparatory school offering a Western curriculum for expatriate middle and high school students (grades 1 to 12).
