The Optimal Learning Services (OLS) supports students with identified learning differences, empowering them to become confident, autonomous learners who meet grade-level standards. Learning specialists in the OLS collaborate and consult with students, parents, teachers, and other professionals in the community to provide individual, small group, and classroom-level instruction.

Yes. By working with parents and faculty, the school psychologist guides caregivers regarding learning-related matters. The primary role of our school psychologist is to support students who may not be performing to grade-level expectations and/or are experiencing learning difficulties. This support can include any of the following: academic screening, observation of the student in different learning environments, meetings with parents and teachers regarding recommendations to help the student, consultation regarding strategies and modifications, discussion of student work, and referrals for external diagnostics and services.

Students entering K3 - grade 1 submit a variety of prompts on video and are interviewed by the Admissions Office. Students entering grades 2-12 submit MAP results, teacher recommendations, transcripts, and a writing sample.

SPHSL (São Paulo High School League), AASB (Association of American Schools in Brazil), Little 8, Big 8, National Championship tournaments, and SAAC (South American Activities Conference).

Facilities at the school

Students have access to a lower school and upper school library, several innovation spaces and a robotics room, science labs, and several art spaces, including the Black Box Theater, orchestra and music rooms, ceramics classroom, dark room, and digital photo lab. The Haddad Center for the Performing Arts will open in September 2023 with a state-of-the-arts theater and seating for 600.
