Additional language classes offered by the school

In Primary we have strong Dutch department as well as a Home Language Department. The Home Language department is committed to the development of every child's Mother Tongue. In Secondary we have Dutch classes at all levels, Modern Languages at all levels, and there are a variety of options to continue studying your Mother Tongue Language until graduation.

At ISH technology is seen as an integral part of the curriculum. A variety of platforms and devices is used, according to the age and level of the students to allow them to become confident users of technology and contributors to developments in a technologically rich future

We are ready to offer online classroom solutions in the event of a quarantine through a combination of platforms, depending on the ages of the student of Google Classroom and Seesaw.

Entry evaluation for students

For Primary school, admissions will contact you to make an appointment for a short discussion about your child's needs and a tour of the school.
All Secondary School applicants will undergo Placement Tests before a place can be confirmed for them in the school.

Our placement tests are not an entry exam, rather to give an indication of where to best place the student

No deadline. ISH has a rolling admissions policy. This means that if there is availability ISH accepts students also throughout the year.
