Students must be fluent in English or French. RISE offers two different French language groups to accommodate the needs of its students (Global Adventurers and Global Explorers).

Home visits provide an opportunity for potential students to meet a RISE staff member and to become better acquainted with the RISE program. It also allows the RISE staff member to determine the student’s French language proficiency.
During the home visit, potential students will participate in a 20-minute assessment with a RISE staff member.

All RISE students have 2 hours of physical education per week with a trained instructor. Activities include, among others, swimming, hiking, yoga, soccer, and capoeira.
