In small groups, they receive targeted reading and spelling training in which they deepen their knowledge of spelling and grammar and learn work techniques that help them to achieve their performance potential in all subjects. Teaching approach of the school |
In the process of a Europe growing together, it is becoming increasingly important to design schools as places of understanding, intercultural learning and tolerance. In this context, the acquisition of language skills is of particular importance. Languages are educational assets, cultural carriers and bridges between cultures. Therefore, intensive language lessons (currently German, Catalan, Spanish, English) take place at the ecolea | Internationale Schule Mallorca from the very beginning. In the age of globalisation and increasing mobility, we consider it indispensable to provide our pupils with extensive key social qualifications and methodological skills. We enable the children to orientate themselves quickly in different (educational) systems and to master the highest demands successfully and without fear. Small classes and individual support are just as much a matter of course with us as diverse sporting and cultural activities. With professional equipment, qualified teachers and a high degree of practical exercises, we teach our pupils modern scientific knowledge and methods from nature and technology. We specifically link the children's natural interest in discovering and explaining their environment with the promotion of scientific thinking in project-oriented and interdisciplinary lessons. |
