Kumon Leysin Academy of Switzerland (KLAS) is a private, Japanese, coeducational boarding high school in the Alpine ski resort, Leysin, Switzerland. KLAS was founded in 1990 by Toru Kumon, the founder of Kumon method, to provide students with a bilingual education in English and Japanese, an understanding, awareness and appreciation of world history and cultures, and to instil in students a sense of independence and maturity that will support them as they pursue further education internationally after KLAS.
