Qualities and characteristics best defining the school

At Riverston Dubai, we provide specialist teaching in a small setting. We do this because we believe that, with better levels of expert support, most children can engage with an academic curriculum. We also place great value on the wider development of every child. We prepare children for life. Riverston School Dubai has a total capacity of 300 students and every class will be accepting around 16 students, with a high ratio of staff to students Riverston School Dubai will be a small school focused on truly personalised learning.
At the heart of our work, every child gets an individualised timetable that suits their strengths. Then, we make every effort to help the children find their pathways to success.

Teaching approach of the school

Our goal is to replicate the success we have in Riverston School, London. The London school has an “Outstanding” grade from UK inspectors. It provides timetabled lesson time like most other schools but children receive a lot more. Our teachers and assistants create individual learning paths through the day. This means that children’s work in subject classes is always shaped to the individual. We also add extra planning and learning time where children can focus on their own learning interests and priorities.
Think of it as a school where there are lessons and personal tutoring going on in parallel.
For example, you will find children in science lessons working on a common theme but at a pace and with an approach that suits them.
At Riverston, we believe that children thrive in small, and individualised settings.
