Very small school and not diverse. All kids are from India. They are deciding to change school location but for now, its a small building. I wonder how can Danish authorities approve the school building. For registering CPR, Danish authorities has rules for apartment size, but they overlooked for school building size. I visited school with my husband but decided to go with Danish School in Skovlunde.

Dear Sugandha Chakraborty,
I am sorry to hear about your negative opinion of VIS. I would like to update you on a few things from your review. While many of our students do originally come from India, we also have over 13 different nationalities represented at our small school. Please know that like all other schools in Denmark we are supervised by a representative of the Ministry of Children and Education. The supervisor's report is published on our website and clearly summaries the excellent work we do at VIS. We also are proud of our close working relationship with the Ballerup Kommune who is proud to have us as a local international school.
Finally, I also must point out that you have not registered for a visit at our school, if you would like to do this please contact me for an official tour.
Kind regards,
Kari Doyle
VIS Principal

The smaller class sizes and cosy environment is exactly what we were looking for for our son and daughter, and they are both thriving in the school. We are happy with the academic curriculum and the wonderful theme weeks where the kids do projects. Right now we're looking forward to seeing the Viking museum they have created for the parents! I recommend this school highly to anyone looking for a closeknit school community and all the advantages a smaller school has!

The school is not diverse and has majority of kids from India. They have tie up with TCS and all parents employed in TCS only send their kids there. If you are looking for your kid to be in multi cultural environment, this is not a good choice then. Parents over here have already applied to different international schools and go here as last option.
The school lacks infrastructure- there are no proper class rooms- rather they need to combine grades 1 and 2 in one class. They are also planning to start grade 3 and 4 next year- again with class combine concept. They do not have proper segregation between kids grades.
School starts at 8.15am- they do not have before SFO facility as there are no parents willing to have this facility. This makes difficult for both working parents. School also does not have much clubs or facilities for after SFO as well as there are less parents willin... read full review

Viking International School is a fabulous and innovative school at Ballerup, Denmark. My daughter loves her school very much .The principal and all the teachers work together to ensure all children are learning , at the same time playing and having fun. During online classes I have noticed that the teachers are encouraging the children to ask questions, use their imagination and express themselves. As a parent I am really very much happy to see my child improvement in her confidence as well as her love for learning.

Viking International School is a fantastic school. Though new, it has a made tremendous progress to build a goodwill and trust among the parents. Every day my son is looking forward to go to school. He very much enjoy his time in school and learning new things each and every day.

Great to have a school with focus on both STEM as well as language ( both English and Danish). Learning while having fun is what keeps me and my daughter both happy and satisfied!
