Parklands College is pleased to announce that it has been recognised as an Apple Distinguished School for 2016–2018. Parklands College believes that ubiquitous access to technology enables educators and learners to seamlessly integrate innovative digital tools into learning and teaching. Upon entering the College, the Apple 1:1 programme allows each child’s device to become a personalised learning platform that promotes the development of 21st century skills through authentic learning experiences.

Learning support offered

When necessary, learners may be referred for extra lessons and academic support. The College is privileged in being able to provide learners with professional support from its resident school counsellor, academic support specialists and speech therapist. Extra classes are often held on a Saturday morning in order to provide additional support and re-enforcement in the FET band. Secondary Faculty educators are available on designated afternoons to provide academic support.

Supervised care before/after school

Aftercare is provided for learners in Pre-Primary to Grade 6.
Aftercare facilities close promptly at 17:00 and do not operate during school vacations.
