School Information

Native speaking teachers (in language of instruction)

Class teachers are all fully qualified teachers who have trained in the UK. Many of our staff have worked at the school for a number of years providing continuity and stability.

Language support for students not fluent in the school's language of instruction

The school offers additional support to those children joining it who may be learning English for the first time. The school employs a specialist teacher who can provide children with tuition on an individual basis.

Uniform required

Although the school does not have an official uniform it is very pleased to have a range of polo shirts and sweatshirts in school colours of red white and blue. Each child receives a welcome pack of three polo shirts and two sweatshirts. The wearing of these is entirely optional although we do request that children wear them for school journeys or for those occasions when we are performing in public.

Religious education is taught from Year 1 onwards, and the course is mainly Christian, based on Bible stories, but also covers aspects of other religions, particularly festivals and customs. The programme encourages children to think through some ethical and moral issues.

Children with special needs are admitted to the school at the discretion of the Headteacher and only after careful consideration that the school can truly meet their requirements. Speech and language therapy can be arranged through the school.

Supervised care before/after school

Yes, the school offers an After School Club from Monday to Friday until 17:30. Places must be booked in advance via the school office and the fee schedule may be obtained from them.

Extra curricular activities include: Art, Drama, Music, Dance, Beavers, Rainbows, I.T., book club, gymnastics and Saturday morning football and multi-sports for both boys and girls.
