Barcelona Montessori School is a British Montessori school founded in 2020 and located in the neighbourhood of Sarria in Barcelona. BMS is dedicated to providing an authentic Montessori environment for children from 14 months to 12 years of age.

BMS aspires to create an environment in which children are supported to become responsible, respectful and resourceful, and develop strong perceptions of themselves, their own capabilities, and a sense of accountability.

BMS encourages children to maintain high standards in all aspects of their development. In doing so, these children are better equipped to become happy and contributing members of wider society. They feel a sense of belonging (connection) and significance (meaning) in their social contexts, enabling them to collaborate and explore mutually respectful and effective solutions to life’s challenges.
