As our Children are currently under 5 years old, we do not require homework. Though due to requests from parents, we provide summaries and over views of what we are working on so that parents may work with the students outside of class to reinforce learning.

Yes. We have two separate uniforms, one being the formal uniform worn to and from school and the other a set of play clothes to allow for full range of motion and activity.

As our students come to us with varied language proficiency levels in any one (or all three) of the languages in which we teach, a general overview of their language skills is asked of the parents.

Do students practice religion at the school? What religion?

Students are free to practice any religion, however a general knowledge and respect for the cultures of all students is fostered by celebrating festivals and holidays arranged by the teachers from Japan, Thailand, and our Native English Speaking teachers.

How does the school accommodate non-religious students or students of a different religion?

No child is expected to believe in or participate in any religious practice or ceremony that would make them or their family uncomfortable. One of our general teachings is to learn about and respect people from cultures from all over the world whether that be a culture based on religion or one with no religion at all.

Yes, we do provide bus service to a selected area of Bangkok. We currently have two separate buses that allow for two different routes, but can adjust and/or add to this as our enrollment increases.

Dedicated staff/programs for students with special learning needs

One of our Native English Speakers worked with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, as well as years of experience working in both children and adults with special needs/abilities.

Learning support offered

Trained in basic level ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis), our staff is able to work on harm reduction, skill acquisition and language development in children considered to be Nuero-atypical.

The school supports gifted, able and talented students

We encourage students to be leaders and to use their talents to encourage and inspire other students. If a student is especially talented in a certain area, they are given the opportunity to share their talents with classmates and to encourage the other children to discover their own areas of strength and talent.

We have supervision available as early at 8:30 (possibly earlier on a special case by case basis). We have Child care options available as late at 16:30

We offer additional after school classes/activities including English, Yoga, Clay Works, as well as Play Groups and Summer Camps during school holiday breaks.

Our school provides healthy lunches each day that are created by trained professionals focusing on well balanced meals as well as presentation. The yearly fee for school lunches/snacks is 48,000 Baht annually as listed in the fee section.

Sports activities included

We have Music and Exercise classes taught throughout the week in each of our three languages. This allows for a variety of exercise options, sports, and dances coming from each of the three associated cultural perspectives.

Sports facilities at the school

We have a multi-purpose room that is used for dance classes as well as indoor sports games. We do have an outside turf area where obstacle courses, sports, and other activities are enjoyed.

Sports teams or sport competitions available for students

We do not have sports teams at this time. Sports competitions such as relay races, and obstacle courses are a part of our sports curriculum.

Qualities and characteristics best defining the school

One of our main focuses as an international kindergarten is that life is a bout recognizing and appreciating differences between people, that the things that make us different are the same things that make life beautiful. Teaching kindness is a priority at AIKB35.

Teaching approach of the school

We use a play based and interactive approach to teaching. Each child has the opportunity to be both a leader and a support giver, increasing both confidence as an individual as well as an understanding for the need to work together.
