COLOGNE INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL, a state-recognized independent and fully accredited IB World School, currently accompanies around 460 students from Grade 1 through to graduation and also hosts a bilingual Montessori kindergarten on campus. On the international campus in the north of Cologne, students in grades 1 to 5 learn English/German bilingually according to our unique combination of the North Rhine-Westphalian curriculum and the international IB-PYP curriculum. Our International Secondary School supports students from grades 6 to 12 to acquire the International Baccalaureate (IB).
The learning opportunities of the innovative educational concept with a holistic approach focus on the individual development of the students. In addition, the school offers a flexible full-day program with early morning care starting at 7:30 a.m. and a wide range of after-school activities until 5:30 pm.
The small and modern boarding school, which is located on the school's campus, offers students from the age of 15 the opportunity to live in Cologne without family, in order to successfully complete their school career.
In the Fall, 2022, COLOGNE INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL moved to the new school campus at Butzweilerhof, a rapidly developing office and residential district close to the city with convenient transport links. The new 19,000 m² campus is sustainable and energy efficient, saving up to 30 tons of CO2 per year. A spacious courtyard with trees and “green areas” for spending quality time outdoors surrounds the school building.

The Berlin British School is an IB  World School that runs the PYP, IGCSE and Diploma programmes.
